Test Accommodation Information
PSAT Accommodation Documents/Info- Applications for Oct 2023 PSAT are due 8/26/23
CCRAA Alternate PLAN/ACT/EXTEND 1 Exams(for OCS and AU self-contained students)
Students who require an alternate test for ACT and/or PLAN should complete the following request documents and return to Kelleher. All students on the EXTEND 1 testing track should also complete and return.
Pre ACT Accommodations
Parents and students should make sure that PreACT and PSAT accommodations are on their IEP, 504 plan, or ESL plan at least 30+ days prior to the test. Deadlines must be adhered to. Please note, we will provide accommodations on documents regardless of the score reportability. Parents should review plans to determine whether accommodations are needed or not and discuss with the plan case manager.
ACT Accommodation Requests-due 7+ weeks prior to each test administration
ACT National Testing Information
Parents and students should make sure that ACT accommodations are on their IEP, 504 plan, or ESL plan at least 60+ days prior to the test. Deadlines must be adhered to. Please note, we will provide accommodations on documents regardless of the score reportability. Parents should review plans to determine whether accommodations are needed or not and discuss with the plan case manager. MCHS is not responsible for score reportability for students who use accommodations not approved by the ACT. Only ACT approved/applied for accommodations allow students to have scores that they can send to colleges. MCHS will support parents applying for accommodations but we will only alert/initiate applications for accommodations for the school-based, Feb/March ACT administration. Please use the following site for the national ACT (Saturday dates) accommodation requests http://www.actstudent.org/regist/disab/. Complete the information, send to Miss Kelleher, and we will mail the documents required to the best of our abilities/records here. If you have documentation you feel will further support your accommodation request, please provide the materials to Miss Kelleher.
For national/Saturday testing, parents should apply for their own accommodations. This form will assist you but it is recommended that you do this via the ACT website. Once/if approved for the in school test administration, please save the reference/ID number for accommodations for future applications, as this makes it more streamlined.
